Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, and most importantly: it's pet friendly. We could take our breakfast outside where our dog could join us and we could also stay near the pool area with our dog (but dogs are not allowed to swim in the pool).
The hotel is very close to the Bau beach (the dog beach) which was the reason of choosing it on the first place and in addition, it offers a daily discount for the beach, which was a very pleasant surprise!
We booked a room with sea view and it was lovely. The balcony was amazing for an afternoon aperol (and the aperol from the bar was really nice!).
The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean, but only with the basic amenities (soap, a couple of plastic cups, a basic shampoo/shower gel). There was also a hair drier, a mini fridge, a safe box, and a TV. The mattress and pillows were quite comfortable.
The only minus was that the pool was accessible for swimming only until 19:00. On our first day there we had no idea and went for a quick swim after 19:00 and we told (very kindly and respectfully) that this was not allowed.
Overall we had an amazing time and we would happily visit it again and suggest it to friends!
Stayed here last July with my husband.
We booked this hotel for one night as they did not have more availability.
I can’t recommend enough this place, everything about it is amazing, the food, the room, the swimming pool, the bar they have at the beach with their nice menu. We absolutely loved it!!
Also, I would like to specifically thank all the staff who were really polite and nice. I don’t remember the name of the woman at the front desk desk of the reception, but she is the best!!!!!
I hope to come back there in the future ❤️
This was our first stay at the sea with our 2yo son and it was a great experience from A to Z at hotel Principe. The room and especially the bathroom were spacious (had a room with beautiful seaview and balcony), so the litte one had enough space to play on the floor. The hotel has a great location directly at the beach + free parking spot, pool usage, private beach spots and tasty breakfast are included in the price. Orient express shuttle stop is just few meters away and will take you directly to the city centre or you can walk 15 mins along the beach promenade. Lunapark and supermarket are also in walking distance or you can rent a bike at the reception for free. Especially worth mentioning is the hotel staff, all cleaning ladies, bartenders and receptionists were extremely kind and helpful. Nothing was impossible, they helped us with all our needs and questions. Can only recommend this place!
We (couple with children) stayed at this hotel for one week in late August. The private rooms aswell as the public zones are really clean and neat. Furniture and curtains show the classic "Italian Summer Holiday Chic" :D The staff is greatly polite, quick and attentive. They like children. Breakfast buffet offers all you could want: cereals, several kinds of bread and cakes, sausages, bacon, cheese, fruits, scrambled eggs, spicy strudels, coffee, tea, juice,... There is a heated pool at the back side of the hotel which is quite nice but no zone for younger kids (just a large deep area and a whirlpool). Unfortunately no parking site directly at the hotel but two locked parking sites free of charge about 10 minutes by feet away. Location right by the beach (Spiaggia di Levante) and you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes by feet. Honestly the prices are exorbitant, since Covid and Ukraine... Payed almost 2000€ for six nights only breakfast. Some years ago it wasn't even half of it. But I guess it's the same in all the hotels. Big drawback: You hear EVERYTHING due to poorly soundproofed rooms, so sleeping beforde midnight is hardly possible when you hear every single thing your neighbours do in their rooms. Might be better when you live in a room at the top. Altogether we had a good time here as a family :-)
Top Hotel
Recommended good hotel, acceptable room size, the pillows are comfortable, breakfast fine
Free parking, private beach section, sweet water pool.
Great hotel, location and top friendly service
